CAD Designer Under the direction of the Manager of the Engineering Department, the incumbent is responsible for creating modulations and parts for assigned projects. Duties · Contributes to decision on estimating completion dates for projects · Creates modulations for International and Domestic projects to fit customer’s architectural specifications · Prepares shop drawings for component parts · Create material spreadsheet and cut-lists for custom parts · Assists in conversion to new software CAD systems · Assists in development and compliance with drafting and design standards · Create or revise engineering and shipping bills of materials · Other duties as assigned Requirements Experience/Proficiency Required · Two or more years in a technical discipline related to CAD Operation or sufficient on the job experience to provide technical competence. · Minimum of two years experience in design from engineering sketches or specifications required. · Proficiency in MS Office Excel, Word, Outlook, Mechanical Desktop and Inventor
