| Welders This position will produce products that meet quality standards in a safe and efficient manner using welding technologies. Duties: -Welds on line or on other jobs in various departments in all station on various thicknesses of steel and operates machinery and equipment in designed work area. -May be required to weld on thin gauge materials such as vertex brick sheet, porta shoot materials and light gauge metal cabinet materials. -Required to work from verbal and written instructions; will be required to work from simple drawings and blue prints. -Make minor adjustments to equipment under the direction of a leader -Responsible for the safe operation of equipment and is expected to follow all safety rules -Responsible for the quality of work being performed. Required to learn the 1st piece Inspection procedure and follow it without deviation -Measure personal performance hourly. Report to immediate supervisory when not earning a standard hour for a man hour -Keep work area clean -Supervisor may require performance of tasks other than those listed -Must be able to use measuring devices including tape measurer, calipers, mics, etc., as required -Lift 75-100 lbs -Flexibility to work varied hours and shifts if required -Ability for rational and anticipatory thinking Apply at 6200 Equitable Road, (Off Front Street) Kansas City, MO. 64120 8am - 3:00pm Monday thru Friday (Please bring hood and gloves) Physical / Drug Screen Required EOE | |
